Truvo measured 3,002 auto runs on truvo.com from September 4 to October 3, 2026, each the first rating of a household. truvo.com asks carriers through the same connections as the API. A run finishes when every carrier has answered, or earlier when the page stops waiting.
How each line’s answers arrive
- Personal auto and pet: each carrier’s answer arrives on its own.
- Renters: every renters quote arrives at the same time, once every carrier has answered.
The deadline
Truvo currently stops collecting answers 60 seconds after it accepts a quote request, and a carrier that hasn’t answered by then reads no_answer. See The 60-second deadline.
