Each entry's `states` lists the states where your key can quote that line. If a line isn't in the answer, your key can't quote it. * **Sandbox key:** `states` lists the states that the sandbox scenarios are built for. * **Live key:** `states` lists the states where Truvo has checked live quotes of the line. Live traffic needs Truvo's approval. See [Keys and environments](/guides/authentication). Each entry in `actions` lists its own `states` too, because an action can work in fewer states than its line. ## Carriers To see the carriers for one request: * `market_outcomes` on the quote request shows how carriers answered, with each carrier's name in `source`. * Each quote names its carrier in `source.carrier`, with an `id` and a `name`. New carrier IDs can appear at any time, so handle an ID you don't know. See [Versions and changes](/guides/versioning#what-can-change-in-any-revision). > Capabilities list the states for your key, and each quote request names its carriers.
