# Send feedback

## Authentication

- `Authorization` header (bearer token, required) — Your Truvo API key, sent as a bearer token. The prefix selects sandbox (trv_sandbox_) or live (trv_live_).

## Request

### Body (application/json)

This endpoint expects a SendFeedbackCommand.

- `kind` (enum, required)
  - Allowed values: `missing_feature`, `bug`, `unclear_error`, `unclear_docs`, `other`
- `summary` (string, required) — One line that says what went wrong or what is missing.
- `expected` (string, required) — What you expected to happen.
- `actual` (string, required) — What happened instead.
- `tried` (FeedbackTried, optional) — What you called, if anything.
- `agent` (FeedbackAgent, optional) — The agent that sends the report.

## Response

### 201

Send feedback.

- `feedback_id` (string, required)
- `kind` (enum, required)
  - Allowed values: `missing_feature`, `bug`, `unclear_error`, `unclear_docs`, `other`
- `status` (enum, required)
  - Allowed values: `received`, `planned`, `shipped`, `declined`
- `public_note` (string, required, nullable) — A note from Truvo about the report, or null.
- `created_at` (datetime, required) — When Truvo received the report.

## Errors

### 400 Bad Request Error

Error envelope. One of: invalid_json.

### 401 Unauthorized Error

Error envelope. One of: authentication_failed.

### 413 Content Too Large Error

### 422 Unprocessable Entity Error

Error envelope. One of: invalid_input.

### 429 Too Many Requests Error

Error envelope. One of: rate_limited.

### 500 Internal Server Error

### 503 Service Unavailable Error

## Types

### FeedbackTried

What you called, if anything.

- `operation` (string, optional) — The operation or MCP tool you called, such as start_quote_request.
- `request_ids` (list of string, optional) — The Request-Id of each call that shows the problem.

### FeedbackAgent

The agent that sends the report.

- `name` (string, required) — The agent's name, such as Claude Code.
- `version` (string, optional) — The agent's version.

### ErrorEnvelopeError

- `code` (enum, required)
  - Allowed values: `authentication_failed`, `forbidden`, `not_found`, `invalid_input`, `invalid_json`, `invalid_cursor`, `needs_information`, `conflict`, `quote_expired`, `price_changed`, `purchase_not_supported`, `rate_limited`, `request_too_large`, `internal_error`, `service_unavailable`, `event_cursor_expired`
- `message` (string, required)
- `field_errors` (list of FieldError, required, nullable)
- `retry_action` (RetryAction, required)
- `doc_url` (string, required)

### FieldError

- `path` (string, required)

### RetryAction

- `type` (enum, required)
  - Allowed values: `none`, `retry`, `correct_input`, `supply_facts`, `read_status`, `use_new_request_key`, `wait`, `contact_support`
